{"id":1237,"date":"2023-04-19T15:06:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-19T15:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/optolab.pucv.cl\/?p=1237"},"modified":"2023-08-03T20:10:56","modified_gmt":"2023-08-03T20:10:56","slug":"optolab-en-coat-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qommtrue.cl\/optolab\/optolab-en-coat-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Optolab en COAT 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Se realiz\u00f3 el taller <strong>Communications and Observations through Atmospheric Turbulence (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jamesosborn.webspace.durham.ac.uk\/coat-2023\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/jamesosborn.webspace.durham.ac.uk\/coat-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\">COAT<\/a>)<\/strong> en Reino Unido y como Laboratorio de Optoelectr\u00f3nica de la PUCV estuvimos presentes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el 29 al 31 de marzo se llev\u00f3 a cabo este taller multidisciplinario que abord\u00f3 los principales desaf\u00edos de la <strong>propagaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptica en el espacio<\/strong>, desde la astronom\u00eda hasta la comunicaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de l\u00e1ser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Profesor Esteban Vera, nuestro director, junto a Vicente Westerhout (Estudiante de doctorado) y Basti\u00e1n Romero (Estudiante de mag\u00edster), investigadores de Optolab, viajaron hasta la Universidad de Durham, Reino Unido representando al laboratorio.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/qommtrue.cl\/optolab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_3603-2-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1243\" width=\"426\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qommtrue.cl\/optolab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_3603-2-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/qommtrue.cl\/optolab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_3603-2-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/qommtrue.cl\/optolab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_3603-2-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/qommtrue.cl\/optolab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_3603-2-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/qommtrue.cl\/optolab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_3603-2.jpg 1034w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 426px) 100vw, 426px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Vicente Westerhout, Tim Morris y Basti\u00e1n Romero<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr. Esteban Vera<\/strong> particip\u00f3 de la instancia con una presentaci\u00f3n titulada \u00abMejorando los sensores de frente de onda a trav\u00e9s de \u00f3ptica profunda: Un caso ejemplificado basado en el sensor de frente de onda piramidal\u00bb, que tiene relaci\u00f3n directa con las investigaciones que se est\u00e1n desarrollando en Optolab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los estudiantes de doctorado y mag\u00edster pudieron <strong>visitar los laboratorios de \u00f3ptica adaptativa<\/strong> con el Profesor Tim Morris en la Universidad inglesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, Vicente Westerhout, tuvo la oportunidad de <strong>dar a conocer su trabajo<\/strong> <strong>de investigaci\u00f3n <\/strong>llamado \u00abAn\u00e1lisis del efecto de la turbulencia atmosf\u00e9rica en las c\u00e1maras basadas en eventos para concientizaci\u00f3n sobre la situaci\u00f3n en el espacio\u00bb a trav\u00e9s de la <strong>modalidad de p\u00f3ster<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a1Fue una gran experiencia para los integrantes del laboratorio!
