Estados Unidos para formar parte de la conferencia <a href=\"https:\/\/ieee-rapid.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ieee-rapid.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IEEE Photonics Society &#8211; Research and Applications of Photonics in Defense (RAPiD)<\/a> 2023.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este evento, que comenz\u00f3 el 11 y finaliz\u00f3 el 13 de septiembre, <strong>re\u00fane al gobierno, la academia y la industria<\/strong>, creando una oportunidad para presentar investigaciones y tecnolog\u00edas novedosas que ofrecen <strong>soluciones a diversos desaf\u00edos en seguridad y defensa<\/strong>, con el objetivo de fomentar la colaboraci\u00f3n internacional en estas \u00e1reas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Dr. Nelson D\u00edaz, quien actualmente est\u00e1 haciendo su posdoctorado en nuestro Laboratorio de Optoelectr\u00f3nica, particip\u00f3 en la conferencia con una presentaci\u00f3n titulada <em>\u00abCompresi\u00f3n de video espectral mediante empaquetado \u00f3ptimo en esferas 3D\u00bb<\/em> en la sesi\u00f3n llamada <em>&#8216;Imagen Espectral, Polarim\u00e9trica y Multimodal&#8217;<\/em>, donde present\u00f3 el <strong>nuevo modelo que fue dise\u00f1ado e investigado utilizando empaquetado en esferas 3D<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puedes consultar las actas de la conferencia <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" investigaciones novedosas que desarrollamos en Optolab, lo que posiciona a nuestra Universidad, la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valpara\u00edso, y la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/eie.pucv.cl\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/eie.pucv.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\">Escuela de Ingenier\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica de la PUCV<\/a> a nivel mundial, lo cual nos llena de
